KTM PRR C-1 0-8-0 switcher (DCC) for sale.
For sale: another of Richard Morhard's locomotives, which he donated to the Club for us to sell, a KTM PRR C-1 0-8-0 switcher. This is a bruiser of a switcher.
I personally converted this locomotive to DCC. Added features include: LokSound 5 XL (a heavy-duty decoder with the PRR Banshee whistle enabled), dual speakers (one in the locomotive and one in the tender), directional head and tail lights, Pittman 8413G886 motor, an added spring to the drawbar for reliable electrical connections, and a rebuilt "dog-bone" drive. The drivetrain has been lubricated with Nano-oil and Nano-grease. I spent considerable time optimizing the small speed step running characteristic and the synchronized chuffs.
If you have any questions, issues, or modifications, I'm here to help you get satisfaction. When you buy this locomotive, you get my support.
I have attached some photos to show the work on this engine. Visit the RMCA Facebook Group page for additional pictures and videos: https://www.facebook.com/groups/railroadmodelclubofatlanta.
Price: $700. If interested, please contact Dan Mason.
